When I was about 5 or 6, my mom got me a “Yoga For Kids” book and I’ve been on the mat ever since. I knew from a young age that I wanted to follow in my mom’s footsteps and become a yoga teacher. Yoga has served as a great way to stay healthy and care for myself, but also as a safe zone. Through yoga, I have been able to understand and overcome bouts with anxiety and depression, as well as maintaining my sobriety. My practice has been something I’ve been able to lean into and count on spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally. As a teacher, I look forward to helping others gain those benefits as well as cultivating self-love and building confidence and trust in themselves.
When I’m not doing yoga, I enjoy spending time with my 3 dogs: Molly, Peyton, and Penny. I like making candles, gardening, cooking, and reading. I’m a sucker for a good comic shop and I love to watch Star Trek: The Original Series.
